Givenchy S/S 2012

Givenchy S/S 2012 is a study of earthy browns, art deco and the neo-ethnic accessories. Inspired by two period films, 'Metropolis' and 'Aelita', the collection finds primary inspiration in early Art Deco design movement. We love how the emphasis on the texture and heavy embellishment combined with the use of light fabrics makes the collection appear as well balanced between roughness and subtlety.
